Welcome to Auntie Affirmations.
Across Indian Country, aunties have always been there.
They call to make sure we made it home. They feed us before we know we are hungry. They tell us the truth, even when the truth is hard. They remind us who we are when the world has tried to make us forget.
UIHI brought together 20 incredible aunties from across Indian Country to share messages of love, laughter, encouragement, and belonging. Their words carry the wisdom of their ancestors, the strength of their communities, and their hopes for the generations still to come. They remind us that we never walk alone.
Through videos, a journal, and a supportive hotline, Auntie Affirmations brings you the voices of aunties who see you, love you, and believe in you.
When you need an auntie, our aunties are here.
