LGBTQ2S+ Pride Toolkit

Share these resources to increase awareness on LGBTQ2S+ topics in your community

About the Guide

Pride month commemorates the Stonewall Uprising of 1969 that ignited the modern LGBTQ2S+ civil rights movement. Since then, Pride has become an international celebration. Native peoples have honored diverse expression of self for generations and Pride is a reflection of the joy and resilience our community. Throughout the month of June, Pride brings together the LGBTQ2S+ community with parades, parties, memorials, educational opportunities and more.

This toolkit was designed to help organizations educate about Pride month and public health topics impacting the LGBTQ2S+ community. Share these resources on your social media channels to increase awareness in your area.

Post 2: Get tested and learn about STIs

Pride is more than a celebration. It’s also a time to raise awareness and honor those we’ve lost to the HIV/AIDs epidemic. Getting tested for STIs is an act of love, for yourself and your community. End the stigma and get tested today!
