      Senator Jon Tester has served on the Senate since 2007. Tester serves on the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Tester sponsored a bill to exempt IHS and other agencies from sequestration, and other bills that aim to improve services for American Indians.

      Senator Steve Daines (R-MT)

      Senator Daines is the junior senator serving Montana in the Senate since 2015. He was previously the representative for Montana’s at-large district. Daines serves on the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. Daines co-sponsered the Indian Health Services Accountability Act of 2016. He supports the repeal of the ACA.

      Representative Ryan Zinke (R-MT)

      Representative Zinke represents Montana’s at-large district and has served since 2015. Zinke has fought against the ACA. He was nominated by then President-elect Donald Trump’s for United States Secretary of the Interior on December 13, 2016. His nomination was approved by a 16-6 vote from the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on January 31, 2017. He has yet to be confirmed.
