The Seattle Indian Health Board is pleased to announce the release of the report, Actualizing Health Care Reform for Urban Indians: An Action Plan from the Urban Indian Health Summit. Developed from the Urban Indian Heath Summit, a health care reform event held in January 2011 in Washington D.C., this report serves as a Call for Action that outlines strategies to ensure the success of health care reform for urban Indians. It is intended to prompt an ongoing discussion that is responsive to feedback from urban Indians, the organizations that serve them, urban Indian health professionals, practitioners and others.
Electronic copies of the report are available on the Urban Indian Health Summit website. Paper copies of the report are available upon request, and will also be available at the Seattle Indian Health Board’s 6th Annual National Urban Indian Health Conference, July 26th and 27th in Seattle, WA.
The Seattle Indian Health Board would like to thank the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for its sponsorship of the Urban Indian Health Summit and production of the report.
